About

Qigu Salt Mountain was the pile where the old Qigu salt works stacked what it made. Sun-drying on the works stopped in May 2002. The pile stayed, hard and white, about six floors high, and the grounds opened to visitors.

The address is No. 66, Yancheng Village, Qigu District, Tainan. From November to February the scenic area lists the hours as 8:30 to 17:30. Some works from the 2026 sculpture season are still on the grounds after the season closed in August.
