The art stays on the salt mountain, and the salt festival opens in November

Works from the summer sculpture season are still at Qigu Salt Mountain. On 7 and 8 November 2026 the Kunshen King Peace Salt Festival runs at Nankunshen Daitian Temple and the Jingzaijiao tile salt pans.

The salt rites are at 7:00 on the 7th, 9:05 at the temple, and 15:00 on the 8th back at the pans. There is a Korean blessing performance, a moon-block contest, tours in Chinese and English, and a salt hand-out at 17:30 on the last day. Bring no container of your own.
