A free night of lanterns on the Keelung River

Short version
Shinnyo-en holds a free lantern night on 31 October 2026 at Meiti Riverside Park, on the Keelung River. The theme is happiness, courage, and the future.
Lanterns are given out from 2pm until they run out. A parade leaves the Taiwan temple at 3pm, with nanguan, hip-hop, and circus. The lights are LED and are collected again.
Free buses run from Jiannan Road and Yuanshan MRT. The pictures are from earlier lantern nights, shared by Shinnyo-en. The 31 October night is still ahead.
