TAIPEI, 23 January 2026 — Madenform (媚登峯) gave NT$2 million in 2025, through the Taipei Charity Platform (公益臺北愛心平台), to the city’s breakfast fund for students from hard-up families. The reports say the money is for a clean, balanced breakfast, so those students can get to class with enough to eat.
The group has put money into schooling for more than 22 years. Founder Chuang Ya-ching has said she had to leave school herself because of her family, and that this is why education sits at the center of the company’s giving. The gifts named in the reports include the Ivy League “you come into the heart” scholarship, a scholarship at the International College of National Taiwan University, a six-year NT$6 million scholarship at Chung Shan Medical University, and a scholarship in that university’s nutrition department. The group also gives, from time to time, toward living costs and breakfasts for students in other counties.
In 2025 it kept up a monthly living grant for students in need in Yunlin, and helped families whose homes were damaged in a typhoon with repairs and supplies. The company on the register is Madenform Health Co. (媚登峯健康事業股份有限公司). Chuang is its representative. The address is 11 and 12 F, No. 29, Section 1, Anhe Road, Da’an, Taipei. The public site is trustme.com.tw.
Taipei’s own breakfast plan started in the second term of the 2008 school year, for elementary pupils. From the second term of the 2024 school year it also covers public junior-high students and public and private senior-high and vocational students in the city. A student qualifies as low-income or lower-middle-income, or when the family has had a sudden blow and a teacher confirms the need.
For 2025 the city lists NT$9,351,931 for breakfasts across elementary, junior high, and senior high, and about 5,024 students helped. Commercial Times rounded the same budget as more than NT$9 million. The reports say a steady breakfast also takes weight off the family and makes the morning meal a habit.
Yao Shu-wen, director of the city’s Social Affairs Department, thanked companies and groups for staying with the work. She said the Taipei Charity Platform, since it opened, has joined donors to families, and that more than 100 companies and groups, and several hundred people, have taken part.
